Basic Life Support (BLS) and Annual Refresher
Work in the healthcare sector? You've got a responsibility to ensure that you or your staff are competent in the current practices that conform to the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines in place through a Basic Life Support course covering CPR and AED use. We can help with our BLS course!
Completed a First Aid course before, either with us or someone else and want to refresh? The Health and Safety Executive strongly recommend annual refreshers to remain compliant. Never completed First Aid training before and don't need a full day's course? A half day can be enough to become confident in the basics and our Emergency Life Support course below is ideal.
Emergency Life Support also known as Everyday First Aid
The Emergency Life Support/Everyday First Aid course is a short course (4 Hours), covering basic First Aid to help people deal with life threatening emergencies and going beyond the BLS course. Research shows that nearly 60% of people who die through injury could be saved with basic First Aid knowledge and skills. So, this is a great course for everyday First Aid giving you the skills and confidence to save lives in an emergency.

How are our courses delivered?
All of our courses are hands-on. We’ll show you how to do something – then you’ll have a go. We’ll practice how to deal with whole incidents, from finding someone in need to the point where they’re handed over to the professionals. After all, when someone becomes ill or is injured, you’ll need to manage the whole incident – not just be able to perform a couple of stand alone skills.
