Regulated First Aid Qualifications
At Life Saving Training we offer regulated First Aid qualifications — but what does that actually mean?
Basically, it means our courses are regulated by Ofqual (the government department for qualifications in England and Northern Ireland), the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and Qualifications Wales. As a properly regulated training provider, Life Saving Training automatically satisfies what are known as ‘Due Diligence Checks’.
Due Diligence checks are checks an employer needs to carry out and evidence to ensure a training provider they use can provide appropriate training to meet both the needs of the business and the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The good news is, that by using Life Saving Training, you don’t need to carry out any of these checks yourself because we are regulated by Ofqual, the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Qualifications Wales.
As a properly regulated training provider that is also externally verified, Life Saving Training courses and trainers are thoroughly internally quality assured as well as externally assessed from outside the organisation. This means we have full quality assurance processes in place. You can therefore rest assured that by using Life Saving Training you are receiving the best training, leading to a real qualification, ticking all the boxes — and then some!
So remember, when selecting a First Aid training provider — there are a number of factors to consider to ensure that you, your colleagues, customers and your business are protected. And we hope you’ll agree — they’re worth protecting! You can find out more about Ofqual, the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Qualifications Wales by following these links:
